The goblets are made from a buff stoneware clay. A clear glaze was used inside and the outside was painted with blue underglaze with subtle red glaze highlights. The outside of the goblet was glazed with a clear gloss.
The design is from The Aldermaston Pottery in Sussex, UK. They did a great job of design and artistic glazing. The goblets are slightly different in shape but they seem a decent match.
They both hold 15oz, each. At that size, the question is, are the goblets or chalices. I was aiming for a pint each but missed by an ounce.
The chalices are 6-1/4 and 6-3/8 inches high and 4-1/4 and 4-3/8 inches in diameter. The goblets weigh 14 and 13 oz without packing.
