The planter is made from a white earthenware clay. The rim has been altered into a scalloped pattern. It is covered inside and out with a deep green glossy glaze. One of my best glazes.
Note that if the plater is used outdoors, it should be brought in to a warm place if the outdoor temperature will go below freezing. Earthenware spalls in freeing temperatures
The planret is 5-1/2 inches in diameter and 4 inches high. It weighs 1 lbs, 7 ozs.
