The planter is made from a white earthenware clay. It is covered inside and out with a deep green glossy glaze. One of my best glazes.

Note that if the planter is used outdoors, it should be brought in to a warm place if the outdoor temperature will go below freezing. Earthenware spalls in freeing temperatures

The planter is 6 inches in diameter and 4-1/8 inches high. It weighs 1 lbs, 10 ozs.
