The candlestick is made from a white stoneware clay. It is glazed with an opaque blue glaze. It measures 4-1/2 inches in diameter, 1-1/2 inches high at the saucer and 2-1/2 inches high at the handle. It weighs 8oz without packing.
The candle receptacle is 1 inch diameter. Smaller candles can be used with aluminum foil warped around the base. Slightly larger candles can have the wax trimmed to fit or the ends dunked in hot water to soften the wax for easy insertion. The candle in the photos is about 1 inch diameter.
