The planter is made of a white earthenware clay. I underglaze painted 3 dragonflies, a bug that i think is beautiful. on the planter in subtly different colors.

I'm told dragonflies eat mosquitos. Good bug!

When watering a plant, pour enough water on the plant to make a little water come out in the tray. Otherwise, more filling, when gravity works on the water in the potting soil, you might get a flood.

Earthenware clay is not good if left out in freezing temperatures. Take it in for the winter or it'll spall.

The planter is 3-3/4" tall by 5-1/4" in diameter. The planter weighs 12 oz without packing
