I like pictures on pots and have found I do best with natural things....like trees. Using underglaze I painted what i considered to be an old oak with a little guy sitting reading a book. On the other side is a young maple with a guy using it for a leaning post.

The planter would work on a window sill or tabletop. The planter would also look great on a porch or patio. Just remember to take it indoors in freezing weather. Earthenware clay is not good if left out in freezing temperatures. Take it in for the winter or it'll spall

When watering a plant, pour enough water to make a little water come out in the tray. Otherwise, when gravity works on the water in the potting soil, you might get a flood.

The planter is 5 inches tall and 7-1/2 inches in diameter. The tray is1-1/4inch tall and 5 inches in diameter. The planter weighs 1 lb 10oz without packing.
