A pair of blue-green stoneware soup bowls with handles. These 2 bowls are made with a buff stoneware clay. A buff colored, Shino glaze is used as a liner. On the outside the bowl was immersed in a blue glaze overlaying the Shino. The combination resulted, inexplicably, in a blue-green color. Such is the way with Shino glaze. The bowls are stackable. They are also microwave and oven safe. The bowls hold 1-1/2 cups each. The bowls measure 2-1/2 in h x 5 in dia. Each bowl weighs 11oz without packaging.
