You dont have to put spaghetti or cereal in the bowl. It likes to have salad in it too. The bowl is made from a smooth, buff to white colored stoneware clay. It's oven safe.
The pot is 6-1/4 inches in dia. and 3 inches high. It holds 24 ozs and weighs 14 oz. without packing.
