The little jar is made from a buff stoneware. Yellow, orange, and green stripes are under glaze painted as thinly as my old hands could manage. I like this color combination. The jar has several coats of a clear glaze. It looks simple but bright. The jar is food and microwve safe. You could have tea in it and/or store elasic bands, paper clips.... Remember to remove them before you use it for tea.
The jar is 3-1/4 iches in diameter and 3-1/2 inches high. It holds 3/4 of a cup and weighs 10ozs.
