The cup is spray glazed with sapphire gloss glaze. The kiln played a trick on me and the glaze transformed to a dark brown glaze. It ran nicely over the incised pattern. Cup is made from a buff speckled stoneware clay . The cup is 3-7/8 inches high and 4 inches in diameter. The cup weighs 14 oz and holds 13 oz.
